Ian Le Marquand and Anne Pryke should be aware that corruption starts with small barely significant acts and then gradually escalates. There's still time for them to escape.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3591695769525894359.post-11390372885850870782009-09-18T09:08:41.870+01:002009-09-18T09:08:41.870+01:00Firstly VFC, in answer to your final question - NO...Firstly VFC, in answer to your final question - NO - nowhere in the 'accredited' media have we seen anything bordering on your comprehensive posting on Mr Power's submission.

LONG LIVE CITIZEN'S MEDIA - THE OUTLET FOR THE TRUTH!

This hearing was, as you say so one-sided that if his appeal is turned down there should be a public outcry. It was the most cringeworthy, desperate effort from the Chief Minister's spokeslady, which indeed resulted in derisory laughter, whilst Mr Power's submission actually ended in applause for him. I would suspect that this is rare or even unknown at such meetings.

When asked by the Chair of the Panel why it was not possible the provide this information her 'reasoning!' was that such a document did not exist. However, when asked whether or not, as an example, if a States Department requested a breakdown of an employee's e-mail use over a particular month could this be actioned. The reply was yes!!

EErrr......pardon me if I am not too bright, but it seems to me that in both instances a document does not exist, and in both instances it would require an IT person to extract, process and produce the information. Same process, different answer!!!!!

This beggars the question to which I think we have already guessed the answer - WHY? Heaven help us all if this is our Governments way of working.

Good luck Mr Power and your good wife.Jill Gracianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3591695769525894359.post-31811799459742188062009-09-18T07:00:00.438+01:002009-09-18T07:00:00.438+01:00Oh Titter, Titter!

Many of us cannot get to town for all of these hearings and scrutiny meetings etc, depite having a great interest in the proceedings.
