Last Friday (20th Nov 2020) both Lenny Harper and VFC were interviewed (video below) in a live broadcast on THE RAW REPORT by investigative journalist, and Documentary filmmaker, Sonia Poulton.
Long time readers of this Blog might recall that Sonia interviewed Mr. Harper back in November 2013 which we published HERE. She also interviewed other high profile victims of Jersey Justice/The Jersey Way, former Deputies Trevor and Shona Pitman which Trevor published on his Blog HERE.
Sonia Poulton, for those not familiar with her work, is a fearless journalist (remember them?) who attempts to hold power to account through researched journalism and being a voice for the voiceless. She is a critic of what the Old Media (formerly known as MSM) has become which is essentially a mouthpiece for the rich and powerful. She looks behind the Old Media headlines and stories, or "The Party Line" and does her own investigating in an attempt to uncover what the Old Media might be hiding. She doesn't swallow the propaganda and lies fed to us by a complicit Old Media which is why she continues to take an interest in "The Jersey Situation" and talk to those who uncovered the truth. She has questioned the official narrative concerning the high profile disappearance/death of Madeleine McCann, the role of the Old Media in the case and exposed how it (Old Media) has blood on its hands. Her McCann documentaries can (and should be) viewed HERE and HERE.
So it will come as no surprise to readers that she would take an interest in The Jersey Situation since she last spoke with former Senior Investigating Officer of the Jersey Child Abuse Investigation (Operation Rectangle) Lenny Harper and indeed VFC. The Old Media has consistently peddled propaganda and conspiracy theories involving stories of disappearing baths, disappearing COLLAGEN, Tooth Fairies, gaps in floorboards and disappearing CELLARS. The Old Media has has denied the former Chief Police Officer, Graham Power QPM, the right of reply by keeping documents BURIED that could/would shed light on the truth behind the lies peddled by Jersey Government, Crown Officers, and the Old Media Itself. Indeed what has been described as "The Most Defining Report of its Era, the Old was exposed by a Scrutiny Sub Panel, Chaired by former Deputy Trevor Pitman HERE and HERE.
We also know now that the former Chief Police Officer was (possibly illegally) suspended on what looks to be a pack of lies, first exposed by Citizen Journalist, (and kept buried by the Old Media) Rico Sorda HERE. The Independent Jersey Care Inquiry labeled the disgraced former Home Affairs Minister, Andrew Lewis, a liar after he gave EVIDENCE to the Inquiry. It also found that the disgraced former Minister lied to the island's parliament (his "reasons" for possibly illegally suspending the Police Chief) and he was later CENSURED. A criminal COMPLAINT was also lodged against him by the former Chief Police Officer
Of course this all but scraping the surface of what went (and is going) on in the Jersey corruption/cover-up scandal but it has been exposed by Citizens Journalists and and buried by others.
We thank Sonia Poulton for inviting us on to her show and for taking a continued interest in "The Jersey Situation." We also thank Mr. Harper for continuing to support the Survivors of abuse and indeed the truth.
The full version of Friday night's Raw Report can be viewed HERE and we credit Sonia Poulton for our recording.
I see disgraced Minister is now gracing the pages of the JEP!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sonia, Lenny & Voice for a great show.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see Lenny in top form and hear the stories of when he first came to Jersey. I knew the outline but his own oral account is both sad and entertaining.
Home Affairs Ministers Lewis & Le Marquand have a lot to answer for, particularly in relation to the suspension of Graham Power.
There is clearly a story to be written about the replacement gang of Warcup and Gradwell including the lack of follow up of pre-suspension matters outstanding.
This video should get maximum circulation as it is a great introduction to Jersey where the rule of law is selective and where, no matter how compelling the case for prosecutions, the interests of the régime and of the financial sector rule supreme.
I wonder will anything much change after Brexit is completed at the end of the year. Somehow, I doubt it.
Talking of Andrew Lewis, he'll be steadily raising his profile over the coming year to restand. Already started with a JEP column.
ReplyDeleteIs he standing as Constable of St John to follow in the footsteps of Graeme Butcher and Chris Taylor?
DeleteAnyone who seriously still tries to discredit Lenny, Graham and Stuart, or even mentions coconut, is frankly ill informed and moronic - and can be ignored as either ignorant or actively malicious.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually a good litmus test when getting to know someone, whether they're worth your time.
Will you be interviewing Jeremy Macon?
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone want to listen to Jeremy Macon when you consider his record in the States? Becoming a "Minister" now seems to be a bigger joke than even back in the days of Walker/Le Sueur/Gorst. If Macon had actually grinded out a few big ones in bringing important propositions I would say fair enough. But he has done almost as little as Scott Wickenden but over a longer period. Some new blood please in 2022. And some old blood too come to that. "Opposition" block? Who does the Reform Jersey chairman think he is kidding.
ReplyDeleteI just loight do that soft lad now with dem looneys getting rid of Senators at last. Long overdue. First half decent thing Deputy Labey has done.
DeleteHey Neil, only just noticed this posting tonight so had a watch, or two! It was good to see you guys in great form just like the old days, and with Sonia there to freshen up you two crusty old farts it worked really well. Credit to all of you....
ReplyDeleteNice to see you being interviewed for a change. How about doing a few Xmas interviews yourselves though? Just short ones of a few people who made the difference so we can hear how they think things have changed - if at all?
ReplyDeleteIs a new blog in the pipeline? Must still be loads of subjects worthy of Jersey's true and honest media, the bloggers to cover? Be elections in less than 18 months. So for starters how about asking how it is that two years on we the public still don't know the names of the eighteen elected politicians who broke the electoral expenses law are? I would also like to know why there hasn't been another move to rid of us of the Bailiff? Are we stuck with the bugger just as we seemingly now are with the Constables? Reform in Jersey must be the slowest in the world?
ReplyDeleteSurely instead of a farcical Real Housewives of Jersey TV show to boost awareness of our island we should have a Real Cases of Bent Judicial Practice in the Royal Court to show Jersey in its true light? Get far more viewers than watching a gaggle of posturing air-heads bragging about lippo-suction, their Chakras and how much money they have?.
ReplyDeleteOh be serious! There would have to be at least 20 series to even scrape the tip of the iceberg.
DeleteIsn't it time that former ITV airhead Senator Kristina Moore stopped her obsessive jealousy of Le Fondre? This is a lazy, incompetent politician as her record shows and to be honest I can't stop wondering if that isn't the loathsome Ozouf's hand working Moore's strings.
ReplyDeleteHow does someone so demonstrably useless even become the island's "leading" scrutineer as the JEP so adoringly described her?
DeleteAttacking Le Fondre is pretty much all she seems to do. As an observer I am tempted to suggest that when it comes to being a proper politician she is maybe just faking it as all establishment numpties do?
Wishing you and your readers/commenters a safe and a Happy Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAnd the same to you and yours Polo.
DeleteYou may not be pumping out new posts like a decade ago, but the fact VFC is still here is a huge relief. Here for the record and still here in case anyone ever thinks 'the Jersey Way' is just nonsense. Thanks to VFC and wishing you and all Jersey bloggers and their families, a healthy and happy 2021.
ReplyDeleteI miss the old days. It is great that VFC is still here. But back then we also had Rico, Stuart, Trevor and Bob and even Polo from across the sea to really keep the pressure on. To keep politics honest (make that to "make politics become honest") we really need a powerful alternative media once again.
DeleteCheyenne is the young woman who puts on all the pressure these days.
DeleteFearless, relentless and does what she says she's gonna do and that makes a big difference.
She is the greatest breath of fresh air in years and respected by everyone except paedophiles and their friends/families who hate her. But they are scum so nobody cares.
Anybody else watching this historic child abuse report from Ireland? 9,000 children murdered at misogynistic homes for unmarried mothers in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteIreland has the worst historic child abuse / murder statistics in the World.
ReplyDeleteI commented earlier about Ireland having the highest paedophilia cases in the world. Moderator must be a paddy.
ReplyDeleteLol, no. But let's see how quickly this story is covered up with new news.
DeleteAll of this, including Ireland's sudden rise to the top of the world Covid league, is extensively covered in the Irish media.
DeleteIt is nothing to be proud of but it is at least seeing the light of day and do away with any danger of the Irish considering themselves better than others.
Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
That'll be me then! I haven't sent any of those horrible, deranged comments to you and anyone else. They was all from my alter-ego. And he's dead.
DeleteA big thanks to Polo for hosting a discussion concerning The Jersey situation between him and MYSELF.

ReplyDeleteOn the subject of reporting by Jersey’s State Media there is complete silence about the way the EU views Jersey as a tax haven, but should Jersey be worried ? Look at the EU Meps voting figures.
The European parliament is pushing for UK overseas territories including the British Virgin Islands, Guernsey and Jersey to be added to an EU tax havens blacklist after the conclusion of the Brexit deal.
The resolution, passed earlier this week by a vote of 587 to 50, included measures calling for the automatic inclusion on the blacklist of countries which use a 0% tax regime. Among these are the UK overseas territories, viewed by transparency campaigners as havens for tax avoidance

Do you have any thought on Jersey's new political party? Are they part of the Jersey way or seeking a new way? http://jallonsmangilesriches.blogspot.com/2021/02/a-reader-writes-on-prolapse-party.html
ReplyDeleteDefinitely part(y) of The Jersey Way. LINK.
DeleteYes definitely part of the Jersey Way. Steve Pallett !
DeleteGoing by past experience Steve Pallet will NOT be ruffling any feathers and WILL carry on the Jersey Way.
ReplyDeleteHERE, HERE and HERE.
Any chance of a new post?
ReplyDeleteHope to have a Guest Posting published tomorrow.
DeleteSounds interesting. Good to know you are getting back on line even if you are semi-retired. The Voice is still Jersey's finest and so very important. Will be looking forward to it and intrigued to know who the guest is. Deputy Macon perhaps?
ReplyDeletePlease not Macon! Some people might be interested in why we are having a 12 year old Education minister but I would rather here from someone who has tried to something useful for the island, stood up for something that matters.
DeleteDoes anyone really believe Deputy Russel Labey's about turn on sitting in Senator Farnham's kitchen? No. I don't think so. He should resign now. The Chief Minister should sack him. There should be an inquiry. But there won't be any of these things. You only have to look back at The Deputy Wickenden wine guzzling episode to know that. Politics here in Jersey sucks.
ReplyDeleteLabey is also being allowed to sit on PPC while Housing Minister. Doesn't that show us just how cosy, cosy our politics now is?
DeletePlease give us some new blood come May 2022, or even better a few of the former incumbents who actually had political principles and were prepared to stand by them.
This all mates together stuff is a key reason why our island is in such a mess.
Life on the great old blog yet it seems. How states members and a chief minister expect us all to follow half-cocked rules on Corona virus but clearly don't bother themselves is a joke. Good to see people commenting again and look forward to this promised new post whatever it is about.
ReplyDeleteTribute to the late Chris Wakeham from former Deputy Shona Pitman.
