Hope

Below is a video created by OZZY a survivor of Haute de la Garenne and we would like, once more, to share it with our readers and viewers and pay tribute to those who have, and are still, suffering from the atrocities committed in that place (HDLG) and others.

Here's hoping 2012 will bring us a judicial system that will be there to protect, rather than, crush and oppress those of us seeking the truth. Here's hoping 2012 will bring us an independent media who will hold our Law Offices and government to account. Here's hoping 2012 will bring an open and transparent Committee of Enquiry with a fit for purpose Terms of Reference.

For the Paedophiles and those protecting them who are hoping there will be a let up in 2012......BOB and NO.

Merry Christmas to all our readers across the world and a happy and safe New Year.

Team Voice.

  4. Dear Rico & VFC may I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the tireless and determined work you do. Sadly they are still making us suffer to this day, but they have been making us suffer from the day we were innocent children. But we hope & pray they can eventually give us some kind of answers where we can then try to put a lid on. Please may we also remember those who are very sadly no longer with us and who are a the bright shining stars whom shine upon us. They must never be forgotten and we have to keep up this fight for them also. Merry Xmas & Happy New Year. Jane

  5. I fully concur Carrie. Rico, VFC and others have never faltered in their belief or resolve to get to the truth, or in their support of the victims of abuse.

Those who have chosen to disbelieve and villify the victims either have no consciences or are blinded to a very unpalatable truth. Having said that I am a great believer in the saying that what goes around comes around.

For myself personally, and I have said this before, through this I have made some wonderful friendships with brave and honest people I admire immensely, and I wish you all you wish yourselves for the forthcoming year.

  6. Jane.

Keep up the great work you are doing, you too are a great inspiration and you, as well as many survivors have demonstrated immense resilience and determination.

You are correct we should too remember those who, for whatever reason, are no longer with us that were victims of the Jersey "care" system.

You are one of the un-sung heroes in all this. Rico and myself know how much you, Carrie and others give of yourself to many and all the work you do behind the scenes and otherwise. 2012 we are sure will be no different and we're right alongside you.

  8. VFC and Rico-
Thank you for providing the information the establishment and their established media friends are in denial over. Thank you for being brave enough to do this and for doing it so well. VFC and Rico - be proud. Like Stuart, you are brave people whose names will go down in history for all the right reasons.
May 2012 bring the goals you and so many less brave people like me seek.
I'd like to wish you both, and Stuart, a peaceful and happy Christmas.

  9. I love the word hope without it we have nothing but the criminals in society hate the word blogger or internet because it shines a light into places they want to keep secret and private and thus corrupt.

One thing is for sure they will lose with good people like Neil and Rico spearheading the hunt for the truth and nothing but.

It is not just Jersey that is punching holes into puce dank bunkers.

Mr Navalny, a prominent anti-corruption blogger who was jailed for 15 days over a street protest just after the elections, greeted the crowd with the words "Greetings to the Banderlog from the net hamsters [internet activists]".

Thanks for all your hard work guys
and no doubt an even more revealing 2012.

  14. People have got to realise.

That our most talented politician of our time. And longest serving politician of our time.

Has spent Christmas and maybe New Year in his local prison....

    For what?!

  15. "Has spent Christmas and maybe New Year in his local prison....

    This.

Senator Syvret in 2007 as Health Minister

“I have serious concerns, to be honest, about the whole child protection, child welfare standards of performance of Jersey, not just within my own department, Social Services and the Children’s Service, but across the board. I am aware of a number of issues, this being one of them, a number of cases, a number of incidents that lead me more and more strongly to the conclusion that we are failing badly in this area. I am probably going to be seeking to initiate a major independent review into the whole sphere of child welfare, child protection in Jersey. So if you are asking me honestly, do I believe the performance of certain senior individuals within this field and of the departments generally is acceptable, no, it is not.”
