An Act Of Sheer Desperation?

What could drive a person to go to such extreme lengths as to spend possibly around three hours in, what must have been, the middle of the night and freezing temperatures, to write in huge writing, on a sea wall, a story that is as chilling, and frightening as it is Heart-Wrenching?

VFC can exclusively reveal the sheer magnitude of the "graffiti" sprawled on a sea wall at St. Aubin and the chilling tale that it tells. We have obtained the photographs of this "event" and with the help of The Right Of Reply have put them together in a very short video (below) so readers can grasp the scale and gravity of what has occurred.

We have to ask (as the title suggests) is this a "Sheer Act Of Desperation?" The author claims that the Church, and others, "Silenced" the alleged victim(s) of these horrible crimes. Is it that the author had nowhere left to go after attempting to report the alleged atrocities and "sex ring" to the appropriate authorities but was met with deaf ears and silence? It seems inconceivable to believe that anyone would go to these extreme lengths without going through the correct channels first and had been left with no choice.

What is the emotional and physical state of the alleged rape victim and how safe is she? Besides calling the author of the graffiti "A vandal" (BBC) what will ANY of the island's State Media, or authorities, be doing to encourage, and assure, the victim to come forward (possibly again)?

No doubt there is a lot more to this story than what will be told by the State Media, as it might be problematic to Jersey's "image." Any information can be submitted to the Blog in strictest confidence should any of the effected parties wish the FULL story to be told.

VFC credits the Jersey Evening Post for the final photograph in the video sequence below.

  5. It is blatantly obvious that there is a link to the Corrupt Crown Officers - in order to attack the innocent...

  6. Clearly someone who has commented on here thinks they are aware of who did this.

Perhaps they could persuade this poor woman to make the authorities aware, moreso in light of the HIV aspect which could have untold and ongoing repercussions.

This Island is really going to the dogs, shocking news on a daily basis.

  7. Hi VFC.

What a sad Story & again our Media are not telling us the hole Story. So its up to the Blogs to let everyone know how big the Story is.

Lets hope this Blog gets to the Person or Person's involved & the Truth can come out & lets see what the Police did or didn't Do. That goes for seeing what the Church did or more to the point Didn't do. Few years ago you would of believed the Church but not now that's for sure.

I hope they get the help that they need & the people who did the abusing see Justice.

That painting took a lot of time & thought on a very cold night, wasn't just done on the spur of the moment.

  8. Reports made to the appropriate authorities and met with deaf ears and silence. Now there's a surprise. A common theme between the Police and Crown Officers these days.

  9. Whats so shocking is that the supposed 'authorities' are so bloody corrupt themselves that it is more by accident than design if a tale of horrendous abuse ever sees the light of day. Whats worse is that even so called Professional Standards are corrupt as well. I am campaigning for Foster Carers to bé paid a Housing Allowance which should help shut down *lavishly funded* and *isolated* chidrens homes which remain a Paedos Paradise. 12 years of abuse and harassment by State and its operatives tells me there is strenuous opposition to this proposal. Wonder why? Dont like the idea of loosing control of their 'chickens' eh?

  10. Well done, we'd certainly never have a clue what it was all about if we had to rely on the 'accredited' media. The stench of cover up as usual.

Poor soul must be in a bad way to resort to that. Pity they must be too scared to write anything anonymously online, must fear being traced.

  12. Slightly off topic....... but ITV bosses from the mainland are very closely scrutinising Karen Rankin and Eric Bleackly at the moment and they are not liking it one bit.

  14. "That painting took a lot of time & thought on a very cold night, wasn't just done on the spur of the moment."

Another possibility is that this was done with calculation as part of a feud by someone who wants to blacken the others' reputations for their own advantage or merely to get revenge.

The accusations may or may not be true but there is no reason to think the graffiti was done by a victim. The accusations could be fictitious or they may be true and someone else who knows the facts wants to reveal them.

In fact, the more you think about it, the more unlikely it seems that a victim would respond in this way.

    The whole thing is strange.

  20. Have citizen journalists any updates on the topic of this posting?

  21. No update as yet but the disgraced JEP has apparently printed something. Fellow Blogger Ian has sent us a jpeg of the published piece where it makes reference to more content of the graffiti.

We are led to believe that the JEP piece was published a couple of days AFTER we published the exclusive pictures............................Glad to be of help!

The offer remains open to any of the affected parties to make contact with us, unlike the State media, we can be, and are trusted.

"it was done by a ************ girl who lives in *************** who has a baby but no husband"

This was not very specific but I have not repeated the nationality and location.
Maybe I have this wrong, but was comment proffering helpful information,
or was it a spiteful or judgemental attempt to finger an individual, or was it just invented tripe -troll-fog that is all too common in Jersey ?
Should 23Jan18:57 be stored and deleted ?

The sea wall artist clearly has an important story that they wish to tell.
If you are this person or genuinely have information please contact VFC, Ex Health Minister Syvret, Rico Sorda, "therightofreply" or one of the other reliable Jersey bloggers. I am sure that they will treat your information with respect and any level of anonymity you require. They can get your story out and maybe even shame the authorities into some action.

Well done brave person. I had been wondering if "acts of public art" was one of the new ways forward when the authorities and the media attempt to hide behind an impenetrable wall of silence.
Extreme situations lead to extreme measures.

  24. So sorry I lost my my grip on reality there.

I said "...... and maybe even shame the authorities into some action"

I should have said "...... and maybe even shame the authorities into PRETENDING TO TAKE some action"

I momentarily forgot that we live in the the fiefdom of Bailhache where your sons and daughters shall forever be cheap, or even freely taken.
