Lenny Harper on The People's Voice.

Online users can't have escaped the new Citizens Media outlet to hit the internet. The People's Voice launched only 4 days ago and is making an impact with its hard hitting, well researched, and professional journalism, something lacking in mainstream media, not only in Jersey, but globally.

The People's Voice, does what it says on the tin, and gives those who are voiceless an opportunity to tell the alternative to the mainstream media's version of "news" facts and evidence. It is a much bigger, and more professional, version of the Jersey Blogs (Jersey's only independent media) but covers much the same ground in that it provides its readers/viewers with the truth behind the lie of mainstream media.

Regular readers of this site will be aware that we pride ourselves on dealing with documented facts and evidence and leave the conspiracy theories to the local mainstream State Media. We have exposed the Jersey Child Abuse cover up with this documented facts and evidence while the State Media have peddled their conspiracy theories of tooth fairies, coconuts, disappearing cellars, collagen and baths.

The People's Voice was naturally interested in, what has become known as "the worst cover up in history" or "Jersey's dirty secrets" and made contact with those best placed to comment on Jersey's so-called "Justice" System and inner workings of those in power on the Island.

Last night a number of justice campaigners, truth seekers, and victims of Jersey's so-called "Justice" System were interviewed live on the Sonia Poulton show. To include former Senior Investigating Officer of Operation Rectangle (Jersey's Child Abuse Investigation) Lenny Harper.

As The People's Voice is still in its infancy it does not, as yet, have an archive or playback facility we have recorded last night's Sonia Poulton Show and offer below an edited (due to technical difficulties) version of last night's live interview with former Deputy Chief Police Officer and Senior Investigating Officer Lenny Harper.

Deputies Shona and Trevor Pitman were also interviewed live on the show and Deputy Trevor Pitman will be publishing his interview on his own BLOG tomorrow.

VFC credit, and thank, THE PEOPLE'S VOICE for this video recording.

  1. Well done The Peoples Voice and well done Lenny Harper. As someone who helped expose the lies spun by the likes of the cowardly bully Chris Bright's Jersey Evening Pravda, BBC Jersey and ITV Jersey in helping the Establishment trash the child abuse investigation and Mr Harper it so goo d to hear a proper journalist and media organisation allowing him to give details accounts of the truth. The Peoples' Voice will be providing a truly important service to those who want honesty and truth. No woder the likes of Pravda have plummeting sales! But maybe the Peoples' Voice can get the three 'learned' judges on to explain why they have lied that there is no criticism/failing regarding Jurat John Le Breton in the Sharp Report? Would make fantastic vieing!

  2. The JEP CENSORED my last comment on this thread as they do not like the 'Fuhrer' to be contradicted. So I resubmitted @18:10 - Let's see what happens when they know they are being watched :-)

No further disciplinary action is being taken beyond the Deans two month suspension and his public apology.
An apology which was insincere if lessons have not been learnt !

So sorry to bring historical fact into this again, but to quote the Dean himself:

    www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-jersey-22328641

Dean Key said: "I regret mistakes that I made in the safeguarding processes and I understand that, upon reflection, it would have been more helpful if I had co-operated more fully with the Korris [safeguarding} Review."

How exactly is the club member now "cleared" and "exonerated" according to Mr. Bailhache ?

  3. Very well done to Mr. Harper too, thoroughly decent bloke. He never fails, in any interview, to mention those poor souls who have been abused. Keep up the good work VFC.

  4. Mick Gradwell cleared all this up after he left so Harper's opinion means zero.

    1. Mick Gradwell cleared nothing up after he left because he refused to give evidence to the Scrutiny Review. Here is an example of Mick Gradwell's "WORK" and it shouldn't be long before officers from Operation Elveden are knocking on his door.

    2. Mick Gradwell covered all this up after he left so Harper's opinion means far more.

      Fixed that for you.

  5. A little more insight into Mick Gradwell's "work."

“The Sub-Panel was disappointed that Mr Gradwell, the Senior Investigating Officer who took over responsibility for Operation Rectangle following the retirement of Mr. Harper, declined their invitation to attend. His explanation of a number of issues would have been very pertinent.”

“5.1 The evidence we have received points to Mr. Gradwell as the person responsible for leaking information from draft sections of the work which Mr. Kellett had prepared for the BDO Alto review.
5.2 Neither BDO Alto nor Mr. Kellett were responsible for the leak of information to the Mail on Sunday.
5.3 Mr. Gradwell’s action in releasing prematurely to the media draft sections of an uncompleted report would have been a serious disciplinary matter for the Police. However, no action could be taken against him by the SOJ Police as Mr. Gradwell had completed his secondment and left the Island.
5.5 Mr. Gradwell’s reasons for taking such an unprofessional step are not clear to us as he refused to participate in the Scrutiny review. “

  7. If the commenter who has submitted an excerpt from Hansard regarding the AG wants the comment published please remove the attack on this Blog and offer the Hansard as a point of discussion and not an excuse to attack the Blog by insinuating it is this Blog that seeks to brush things under the carpet.

  8. You only ever post things you want to read.
Luckily most of the balanced minds out there no about the truth in this story which you choose to ignore.

  9. I had to let that comment through if, for no other reason, to assure the commenter that the majority of postings on here are NOT what I want to read as they display, what looks to be, government and judicial corruption and cover-up at the expense of victims/survivors of horrendous Child Abuse.

What this Blog does is question authority, and the official line, something that an independent mainstream media would be doing……..If we had one.

Sadly we have a State Media who thinks repeating Press Releases is “journalism” and don’t seem to grasp that it is a “journalist’s job to question authority.

For the more balanced minds out there they might want to read THIS Posting (including its links) and ask has this Blog attempted to ignore “the truth” or if it has questioned the party line and exposed, what has been described as, “the worst cover-up in history, with official documents and evidence?

  10. Some words your detractor may like to ponder made by John F Kennedy when speaking to American journalists -

'"The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers, which are cited to justify it".

How very apt in this little Island

    1. Thanks, Jill, for a reminder of that quote. We need to make this the way all "Free and Open Societies" are defined. Most "democracies" will fail the test but there is hope for greater public awareness now, with internet challenges to old media's information monopolies.

  12. A great blog post. As always, I come here for news and information as I can trust it is truthful and acurate. And unlike the Jersey MSM, it doesn't smell, nor leave you with more questions than answers. Take this JEP article as an example which I will copy and paste as not good at links-

Jersey’s ‘digital future’ chief to return to UK

Jersey’s ‘digital future’ chief to return to UK

THE chief executive of a States-funded body given the job of turning Jersey into a world-leading digital centre has left his post with immediate effect.

Ted Ridgway Watt, who joined Digital Jersey at the start of this year, has resigned from his role due to personal reasons ‘unrelated to Digital Jersey or Jersey itself’.

His resignation comes less than two months after presenting the independent body’s business plan for 2014, which included aiming to create 2,200 jobs in the Island’s digital sector during the next seven years.

Mr Ridgway Watt told the JEP that he was sad to be leaving the Island.

  13. Does ‘The Peoples Voice’ have (accredited) journalists that are able to come to Jersey and interview ex-Senator Stuart Syvret in Her Majesty’s Prison La Moye?

Now that would make an excellent follow-up to Mr Harper’s interview. Can you try and contact ‘The Peoples Voice’ and make it happen Woody?

People in the United Kingdom should be made aware of Stuart Syvret, Jersey’s first political prisoner since the time of the English Civil War or Nazi occupation of Jersey.

A Prison interview just before Christmas is perfect!

Perhaps, you may also wish to publish ex-Senators Syvret’s Christmas Speech. You know the one... in which he had his microphone switched off...

    1. TPV is interested in interviewing Stuart, on his release from prison, so may be that will happen in the New Year? Sorry I was unable to find a copy of Stuart's Christmas speech but know it is on the net somewhere. Having a microphone cut off, now what could that remind me of? Oh I remember NOW.

    1. If only we had this entire Christmas speech in film format. Ah, but it will make a powerful opening scene in a movie one day, don't you think? A lone man's voice crying out against abuse of children, a powerful assembly of offended tax haven politicians, and the righteous indignation of those who believed Christmas was not the time to be confronted with anything but self-congratulatory odes to greed? A film audience will understand the underlying age-old theme of good vs evil from the start and it is not a message which will serve Stuart Syvret's oppressors.

    2. Brilliant. Can't wait to watch it. Perhaps the makers of this film
      might see the potential.....

  18. What on earth is going on? We were told last time we did need his prison number - I've sent him 5 letters already, including stamps, envelopes and an SAE, and I KNOW he would definatly have written a short note to me if he'd recieved them. Why wont you tell us his prison number?
