Team Voice- I would like to thank the team for another year of excellent coverage and questions into areas that the Jersey media outlets are simply unable to tackle because their relationship with the state is one of subservience. Merry Christmas to you all from a much appreciated local resident.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your positive comments and support. Merry Christmas to you.
DeleteThe same from me team voice once again excellent work all year round long may you keep going.I wish you all a very merry christmas and the hope for a better new year.
ReplyDeleteMartin. Thanks for all the work you do and for your continued support. Merry Christmas.
DeleteThat was the year that was but it might not have ended so well for the Chief Minister who appears to have close ownership links with the St Helier brothel building through his in-laws. No doubt the State Media will be publishing the full facts in due course to clear up any damaging rumours.
ReplyDeleteIf the Chief Minister's in-law(s) own the building that housed a brothel then one would surmise that is a newsworthy story, and one of public interest. So don't expect to be learning about it in the State Media any time soon. Merry Christmas.
DeleteTragic.
ReplyDeleteQuite. Merry Christmas.
DeleteTeam Voice - I think that anybody who seeks openness, honesty, facts and truth which this Island so sadly needs at this moment in time, not least in regard to the Committee of Inquiry, has every reason to respect and praise all the dedicated work you and Rico have done to enlighten a public so often kept in the dark by the MSM.
ReplyDeleteLong may this continue without fear or favour and to both yourself and Rico and your families, have a very happy and peaceful Christmas and a successful 'blogging' New Year!
Jill.
DeleteThanks for the phenomenal work you do (mostly behind the scenes) for Victims/Survivors and many others. Thanks for your continued support and Happy Christmas.
Congratulations on a year of excellent reporting.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas to you and yours.
Polo.
DeleteMerry Christmas to you and thanks for your support.
Hi VFC,
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year, full of yet more groundbreaking blog postings and interviews.
I'm a long time reader (6+ years). Keep up the great work in 2015!
P
p.s. It gives me a warm feeling knowing that troll boy will HATE reading all these messages of support. As Santa would say, "Ho Ho Ho!"
Thanks for your 6 plus years of support and merry Christmas.
DeletePleased you have broadened your remit, over the last year to include other issues. Thank you for your excellent balanced journalism, always an interesting site and a credit to the investigative free press, all done in your own free time.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family an excellent peacefull Xmas and happy new year.
Boatyboy.

DeleteThanks for the great work you do on Planet Jersey and your support for local Blogs. Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas and thank you for the excellent Blog.
ReplyDeleteEmma.
DeleteThank you and Merry Christmas.
Its a shame you can never blog about anything good happening Jersey.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anon @10:18
Deleteyou should talk about happy things like doe-eyed cows and snowflakes.
La de da de dah ......
Jersey people do not want to know about child abuse occurring their island, past or present.
@anonymous "Its a shame you can never blog about anything good happening Jersey."
ReplyDeleteHere are some of the good things that have happened to Jersey in recent years:
One
Two
Three
Its all spiteful vindictive aggression against their fellow men.
DeleteThese blogs are not a source of news, they are a source of hatred.
I hope you have a happy Xmas and try to find some piece in your lives.
Do those who abuse children, or allow children to be abused really believe that is is "spiteful and vindictive" to be held to account for their actions or inaction?
DeleteWhat a strange "island-world" they live on.
An insular and secretive society allows these people to "run the show".
Merry Christmas and best wishes for continuing success in 2015.
ReplyDeleteYou have worked tirelessly & courageously to bring justice and transparency to Jersey journalism, and now you have an established, and I'm sure rapidly growing, outside readership. That you have hostile resistance from some is a tribute to the difference you are steadily making to maintain a real Fourth Estate in Jersey, in a climate that fiercely resists holding the powerful to account.
As daily revelations in the UK, and beyond, expose high level government concealment of horrific abuse, it's apparent the outside lens will inevitably focus again on Jersey and the evidence they thought they'd conveniently spun away. Your work has gone a long way to preserve the record of hard evidence and the ongoing state media attempts to conceal it.
I too, wish you peace in life, and hope you rest easily at the end of each day, knowing you are doing the right thing on behalf of those who desperately need your voice to speak for them. It matters.

DeleteThanks for your huge support (and re-tweets). Hope you, and yours have a happy Christmas.
Best wishes for Xmas and the New Year. Thank you for your blog
ReplyDeleteAnother wasted year spent fuelling the collective delusions of your diminishing readership. New postings are rare, new topics are even rarer and the whole Jersey blogging scene has pretty much collapsed just at the time (CoI) when we should have expected a lot more from you and your fellow self proclaimed champions of justice. It's descended into a farce about Bloggers versus MSM and the victims you claim to support have simply become a side issue. it's sad, disappointing but perhaps predictable that you include two articles about being barred from the media room at the CoI in your top 10.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that three of this year's Blog Postings have made it into the top ten of all time (to be published soon) VFC postings would suggest that our readership is growing, not diminishing. The fact that we have had in excess of 30,000 more hits this year than last year and considering there has been eight less Blogs posted this year than last year would suggest that the readership is growing rather than diminishing.
DeleteOne of the reason's that we have been unable to bring readers more postings on the COI is (if you had read THIS POSTING you will know we have been banned from the media room at the COI and therefore unable to effectively report from it.
"I" did not "include two articles about being barred from the media room at the CoI in your top 10." It was YOU (the reader) that made up this year's top ten Blog Postings. If you had read the first line of this posting "Below are the Top Ten most hit Blogs published on VFC in 2014" Top Ten "most hit."
VFC, Please do not confuse the paedophile's rent-a-troll boy with facts and logic.
DeleteWouldn't want it to choke on it's sprouts
Season's greetings to all honest and healthy islanders.
Being denied access to a "media room" (whatever that is?) isn't quite the same as being denied access to the CoI. I thought you said you still had access to the hearings?
ReplyDeleteJust a little light relief.
ReplyDeleteAs Little Red Riding Hood might say "Oh, what funny readers you have, Voice"
I just had a visit from one of them and rather than repeat what they said and taint your pristine blog I'll just give a link.
I'm fairly sure I know who it is, unless, of course, he has an alibi, like a prison cell, which is most unlikely.
I've already encountered Monty on Twitter some time back.
All the best for the New Year.
